Bio for Compass
I am a commercially minded catering manager with 19 years’ experience of contract catering services. In my career to date I have been fortunate to have worked for some of the biggest names in the hospitality and catering industry. I started out at end of secondary schools as a trainee chef and after qualifying worked in Michelin starred restaurants and hotels in the UK, Ireland and Australia. I have always had a passion for delivering customer service and genuinely enjoy providing the best service possible to customers. Eventually I moved out of the kitchen and into front of house positions and from then progressed into management roles. In 2005, I made the move from the hotels to contract catering. I have worked in many operational management roles for multi-national facilities companies and contract caterers. I was appointed to the position of Account Manager for JLR in August 2016. I always aim to communicate clearly and positively at all levels and to build an environment where all colleagues feel they are valued for their contribution.
